Signature Property Care — Interlock Sanding & Sealing (v1)

Interlock Sanding & Sealing · Greater Sudbury

Washed. Re-Sanded. Sealed.

Three stages that lock your pavers back in place and hold them there through the freeze-thaw.

Why It Fails Here

The Joints Go Before The Pavers Do.

The stones themselves are fine. It's the sand between them that washes out — and once the joints are empty, water gets in, freezes, expands and starts pushing pavers out of line.

That's why a driveway that was laid perfectly ten years ago is now uneven, weedy and full of ants. Fix the joints and the surface goes back to behaving.

  • Uneven surface and loose stones
  • Weeds coming up through the joints
  • Ants nesting in the empty gaps
  • Faded, chalky colour from UV
  • Water soaking in instead of beading off

Joints refilled and the surface sealed back down.

Our Process

We Don't Just Rinse It. We Rebuild The Joints.

Three stages, in order, and each one depends on the last being done properly.

01

Deep Pressure Wash

A surface cleaner takes everything off and out — including the old joint sand, which has to go before new sand can bond.

  • Dirt, grime, moss and algae
  • Weeds pulled from the joints
  • Old sand residue cleared out

02

Polymeric Sand

New polymeric sand swept into every joint and activated. It hardens in place, which is what actually stops the movement.

  • Locks the pavers together
  • Chokes off weeds and ants
  • Resists washout in heavy rain

The surface has to be fully dry before this goes down, so stage 02 is often a separate visit.

03

Seal It

A sealer over the top protects the stone and brings the colour back — matte if you want it to look natural, wet-look if you want it rich.

  • Colour back in faded pavers
  • Oil and organic stains sit on top
  • Next clean takes a fraction of the time

Matte or wet-look — your call, and we'll show you both before we start.

How often it needs doing Every two to four years for most Sudbury driveways, depending on traffic, shade and how exposed it is. If the joints are still full and water still beads off, you can wait — and we'll tell you that rather than sell you a job you don't need yet.

Polymeric, Not Play Sand

It hardens in the joint. That's the whole point.

Dried Between Stages

Rushing sand onto a wet surface is why jobs fail.

"Absolutely an awesome job, I would highly recommend them. Washed the exterior of my entire house, shed and driveway. He cleaned out all the dirt, washed and resealed my interlocking bricks — everything shines. Very professional."

Worth asking about

The machine and the crew are already on site, so most people add the driveway, walkways or a house wash at the same time. Ask when you book and we'll price it together.
